Discussion/Subcommittee Meeting Dates and Locations:

The next phase of the SPAP was to develop the strategies that will positively affect suicide prevention in San Diego County. To do that, we had a series of discussions that take specific provider groups and discuss specific strategies.

All meetings were from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Community Health Improvement Partners' offices located at: 9370 Chesapeake Drive, Suite 220, San Diego, CA  92123

Suicide Prevention Action Plan Summit

A Suicide Prevention Action Plan Summit was held on May 23, 2011 to finalize the San Diego County Suicide Prevention Action Plan, due to be released in late September 2011.  Materials from the Summit include an overview of suicide prevention strategies and a report from the CDC titled Self Directed Violence Surveillance: Uniform Definitions and Recommended Data Elements
