The San Diego County Suicide
Prevention Council (SPC)
- Our VISION is zero suicides in San
Diego County.
- Our MISSION is to prevent suicide and
its devastating consequences in San Diego County.
This can be best accomplished through....
- Enhancing collaborations to promote a suicide-free
community
- Conducting needs assessments to identify gaps in suicide
prevention services and supports
- Disseminating vital information on the signs of suicide and
effective help-seeking
- Providing resources to those affected by suicide and suicidal
behavior
- Advancing policies and practices that contribute to the
prevention of suicide
The Suicide Prevention Council believes that these

San Diego County:

Suicide Prevention Council (SPC) Meeting

The SPC meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month from
10:00am-11:30am in the CHIP Training Room, located at 9370
Chesapeake Drive, Suite 220, San Diego, CA 92123. Please RSVP
for all meetings to Beth Ruland at bruland@sdchip.org.

Suicide Prevention Council Strategic
Plan
The San Diego County Suicide Prevention Council has now released
their three-year strategic work plan. Based on
recommendations from the
San Diego County Suicide Prevention Action Plan, the SPC
Strategic Work Plan provides a framework for SPC activities over
the next three years. Click here to review the strategic work plan, and look
for ways in which you or your organization can contribute to
