PUBLIC POLICY COMMITTEE

The CHIP Public Policy Committee provides a forum to discuss and garner collective advocacy opportunities amongst our partners.  In addition to taking positions on legislative issues, the committee works to track key issues, identify problems and propose solutions. By working in a collective manner and achieving consensus on key issues, CHIP and its partners will more effectively advocate to improve the health of all San Diegans.

Focus Areas
The CHIP Public Policy Agenda puts into action the five priority issues identified by the CHIP Needs Assessment: access to healthcare, social determinants of health, obesity, mental/behavioral health and violence and injury prevention.
