Media Subcommittee

Purpose Statement:  The SPC Media Subcommittee was formed to impact responsible reporting on suicide in the media. The subcommittee works on engaging media members through the SPC Media Engagement Plan and responds to news stories through the SPC Media Response Plan. Additionally, the subcommittee holds trainings for Public Information Officers (PIOs) to respond to media requests.

The Media Subcommittee meets on the second Monday of every month from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm.
